J&P Client: Scheldebouw
150 Cheapside is a £53m landmark commercial office building , sited in a prominent position in the City of London.
The project for client St Martins Property Investments, comprises eight above ground levels and two basement levels and is being constructed to achieve an excellent BREEAM rating.
The vertical cladding on the building will is aluminium, glass and Portland stone and features brise soleil, vertical fins and a triple glazed façade with automatic solar blinds and ventilation control. The roof will be planted with sedum.
Inside, two glazed and scenic lifts will create an open environment. The entrance will be finished with a spectacular full height light box and glass bridge behind the reception desk.
J&P supplied the project with T-Bolts and Jordahl channels, in both sled assemblies and standard short lengths. In connection with the client’s engineers, J&P worked on the selection and design of channel for the project, in order to develop solutions appropriate for the situation described.
