The JDA Studrail is a reinforcement solution with a minimum of formwork and an optimum use of space.

In trials, double-headed anchors have achieved the best results, and in practice they have shown themselves to be a particularly efficient and economical method of punching shear reinforcement. JORDAHL® JDA studrail consist of double-headed anchors connected by a perforated strip. Alternative spacing methods are also available to suit specific installations.

Advantages:
- Construction authority approved for static and dynamic loads
- Higher loading with slip-resistant transmission of force
- Optimum slab thickness can be achieved for slab greater than 18 cm
- Saves time by fitting from above after Iaying the entire reinforcement cage
- Suitable for precast slabs through fixing on the formwork, or by laying on mesh supports

JORDAHL® JDA-FT punching shear reinforcement is a special
version for the use of double-headed anchors in precast slab elements. The strips are used for easy positioning on the formwork, in between the girders and horizontal rebar.
After pouring and hardening of the concrete layer, the strips can be removed. Since the exact position of the anchors is now fixed, the strips are no longer necessary, and don’t hinder the installation of the bending reinforcement. JORDAHL® JDA-FT Punching shear reinforcement offers best comfort of installation with minimal effort.

The JORDAHL® studrail is manufactured to the appropriate static requirements. The double-headed anchors can be supplied with dA = 10, 12, 14, 16, 20 and 25mm. The Iength of the anchor is between 125 and 750mm.
Longer Iengths can be manufactured at the customer’s request. Double-headed anchors are made from BSt 500 S and the perforated strip is made from structural steel.
